How to Build a Gate Goes to New Zealand Fringe at the Bats Theater

We’re thrilled to see our show, How to Build a Gate, back in New Zealand, where it started its very first run in the Summer of 2024. But I hate to say, this time we won’t be touring. Instead, we’ve landed at the amazing Bats Theater, where the show will premiere its brand new, never-before-seen rendition of Liza’s and Hal’s story.

Fresh off an Off-Broadway run in New York at Soho Playhouse, where it was featured as a finalist in the Lighthouse Festival, How to Build a Gate will be performed by the two incredible actors who’ve led the production from the very beginning. Kate Lowe, a New Zealand local, and Megan Pigott are seasoned New York actors who are as excited for their Fringe debut as we are.

If you’re lucky enough to be in town, grab your ticket before they sell out. And for anyone out of town, you can choose to support the travel expenses of our international production by donating to our Boosted campaign.
